Vriska made a lot of mistakes. Some of them weren’t her fault, 8ut a product of the situation she was hatched into. Some of them were undenia8ly entirely her fault, 8ut toward the end of her lifetime she was just 8eginning to understand that and feel remorse.
I think if she had the chance and enough time, she could have grown into a genuinely good person.
As for the Marquise…….. It’s complicated. She was a confident, powerful pirate, just like a character from a 8ook; essentially everything I used to want to 8e, and in a way I suppose I achieved all my dreams, through her!
8ut it’s not the same when you can only watch an alternate self experience these things, rather than live through it yourself.
In fact, it’s a little depressing to 8e so very close and yet simultaneously so far away.
