Vriska made a lot of mistakes. Some of them weren’t her fault, 8ut a product of the situation she was hatched into. Some of them were undenia8ly entirely her fault, 8ut toward the end of her lifetime she was just 8eginning to understand that and feel remorse.

I think if she had the chance and enough time, she could have grown into a genuinely good person.

As for the Marquise…….. It’s complicated. She was a confident, powerful pirate, just like a character from a 8ook; essentially everything I used to want to 8e, and in a way I suppose I achieved all my dreams, through her!

8ut it’s not the same when you can only watch an alternate self experience these things, rather than live through it yourself.

In fact, it’s a little depressing to 8e so very close and yet simultaneously so far away.

Hello. My name is Aranea, and as a fully realized Sylph of Light I have the a8ility to help people see things, 8oth literally and figuratively. The latter is likely more relevant to your interests, though certainly the offer still stands for the former should any one of you happen to lose your vision. I do hope that won’t 8e necessary, however.

At any rate, I am sure there are a few things that may 8e confusing to you at the moment, or even some that simply spark your curiosity. While it is true that if you wait and reflect honestly long enough on a question, often an answer will come to you, I feel like sometimes it may also 8e 8eneficial to hasten the process just a 8it. ::::)
